Wow.
It's hard to believe that another year has come and gone. Soon, we will be saying the same thing about 2009. Time just passes so quickly.
Unless you are waiting for a referral.
Sometime this year, we hope to bring Alyza (note the spelling change) Kate home where she belongs. We pray for her daily and ask that God protects her and loves on her until we can get there and get her home. In this upcoming year, I ask that you pray too. My burden for the lonely children of this world seems heavier and heavier. God just didn't intend for children to live in orphanages and homes without a family to call their own. Pray for those children. Pray for families to step up to the plate and learn what the miracle of adoption really is.
Alyza Kate, we love you dearly. We pray that God will allow us to come quickly and we cannot wait to see your sweet face in 2009.
